I have completely backslid after having my child in May 2012. Too much "cheating" ... too much pasta ... too many French fries ... not enough tracking what I eat. Which means there's bad news with a little good. First, the good news: I haven't ballooned back up to my original 200+ weight that required size 18W clothes.

The bad news: I have not returned to my original goal of 145 to 150 lbs that could fit into size 6 jeans.

So, I now have some motivation to get my butt in gear! I'm taking my children on a Caribbean cruise in just two months. Currently, I wear size 8 to 10 jeans...and I'll weigh myself for the first time in a long time tomorrow morning, but I'm sure it'll be more than I would wish it to be.

I am back on the low carb eating plan full-time. And I've begun exercising again...something I'd stopped altogether after my baby's birth and my re-hospitalization due to post-delivery complications.

Well, you know it works and you've done it before very well, I'd say! So no doubt you'll do it again. LOL, my END goal is size 10 jeans!

That's great that you are aware and stopping yourself now before you let it get out of control. It will be much easier to lose 15-20lbs to get to your goal, than continuing on that path and having to lose everything you lost all over again. Its so easy to justify little gains and then suddenly your afraid of the scale because you know its not so little anymore. You should be proud of yourself for not allowing that to happen. Good luck as you work towards taking off those last pounds.
