On a plateau of 83.3 kgs for past 5 days now .. dont know how to break it. No physical exercise for me, as I am locomotorily challenged. My RDI is around 2000 KCals but I am trying to keep it below 1400 to maintain a calorie crunch. I am on a Low Carb High Protein diet. any suggestions to get down?

Are you able to do chair exercises, @Aadrika? There are some good videos on You Tube for all levels of mobility. LOVE that you got "playing with a toddler" on your Exercise log! That most definitely IS exercise in my book! Glad to have you with us. Bests wishes for a great week!

Thanks pals.. @Debbie Cousins..yes I can do chair exercises, any limited to upper body flexes. Shall check that on youtube..I have an 8 year old son (teaching) and a 3 year old daughter (keeps me on toes for all the time that she and me are home together)... :)..
@liv001 .. 1 week on diet without any change on the scale is bit scary.. :)

Plateaus can out-last our patience, very frustrating. I generally do a "fat fast" : two or three days of 80 to 90% fat, in three to four mini-meals; as close to zero carbs as I can manage.

@gz9gig......thats a great tip.. never thought of it!! shall try .. I am actually not on a keto diet per say.. I am trying to keep my carbs low and my diet high on protein rather than fat. This makes it a little flexible so that i can sneak in my BIRYANI occasionally.. :)..
I dont know if reducing my carbs and increasing my fat % would help in these conditions..

Aadrika, what I suggest ed is purely a stall - breaker, not a regular diet. Another stall - breaker: Do a "Chicken Thigh" day: drink only water; bake 4 to 6 chicken thighs with the skin; have 1 for breakfast, 1 - 2 for lunch; 1 for a snack; 1 - 2 for dinner; nothing else except water all day. Some people get 2 to 4 lb drop the next day.
