Hello everyone!
I've been AWOL for a little while-- trying to get some personal things figured out. Still working on it, but I think I can put some more time into myself again, now, which means more time on this site with all my 'cyber' friends :).
Had a good weekend. Went to Tacoma Saturday and then drove another 1 1/2 north to a reptile farm that my son and nephew really wanted to go to. The farm wasn't as spectacular as we had thought, probably not really worth the drive with gas prices, but you never know until you try, right? My kids all spent the night at my brother's house, so hubby and I had the hotel all to ourselves, which was nice except that the bed sucked! Went to Seattle on Sunday to go to the Pacific Science Center and saw the omnimax showing of Grand Canyon Adventure-- now I REALLY want to go to the Canyon! Headed back home Sunday night and spent all day Monday catching up on grocery shopping, laundry, etc. Had a good time with my niece and nephew, though. That in itself was worth the trip and the money it took :(
I'm actually home all this week! My son has a track meet tomorrow which I get to go to, then we are planning on going to downtown Portland this weekend to the Rose Festival-- more money!! :( Oh, well, you only live once, right?

LOL Join the crowd! Man I tell ya... not sure how we'll be makin' it this year, financially. Each year it's getting worse, not better! I really do not know what we'll be pulling out of our sleeves to make it happen... but thankfully, somehow, we do. Glad you had a nice time... was wondering about you and that reptile farm! lol I saw a commercial for Quiznos, you get a childs ticket to Pacific Science Center with the purchase of a sub and then of coarse an adult ticket at the center. But hey, it'll save me the kids prices! lol I need to get a day picked and take them, Clint really wants to go, too. Have a great week at home!! xoxo

The Grand Canyon is spectacular! I'd love to go back there some day. The closest I might get is that omnimax film. Hope it comes to my area. Have a great day! :)

It sounds like you had a great time on your trip. I've been to Vegas twice and never took the excursion to the Grand Canyon. That is on my list for the next trip for sure. Money sure is getting pinchier with all of the prices going through the roof. You're not alone there!

Glad you had a good time on your vacation! Great too that you were able to get some alone time with the hubby! The Grand Canyon is incredible, and I hope to get a back there some day with my husband (he's never been), a place you definitely should get to some day! Gas prices are ridiculous right now. I'm sure they are higher in other areas of the country, but in Boston right now they are at $3.99 a gallon...and thats on a good day. Have fun at the Rose Festival, sounds great! take pictures!

Glad you are back on. Washington has been my favorite state I have visited so far. I just loved the green lush countryside, all the water and cool Seattle downtown, and the beautiful mountains. It has it all there. I can't wait to visit there again and maybe even live there someday.
