Hey guys, my internet has been down for 3 days so I haven't been able to get on at all! We got a new router so it's back up.

I started the new job training this week. Wow, I cannot believe all the stuff bank tellers have to know. I really had no idea there was so much to learn. Training is good although I hate sitting so much. My leg keeps cramping up from all the sitting. I am not used to it at all. I have managed in some walks and floor exercises most every day, but really do not have time to go to the gym with 3 kids on top of that. I was up a pound today, so I need to be very careful, and with sitting for 8 hours straight, I am hardly burning any calories. I hardly ever sat at home. I have not managed to write down points either although I have packed healthy lunches each day. So, one more week of this, then my new schedule is very manageable and I will get back to the gym. I really miss it. It's neat to see how before it seemed like a chore when it wasn't part of the normal routine, and now I really crave it and really hate having to miss it. So, my goal is not to gain anymore and lose if I can still by the end of the month, but not to gain mainly! Hope you all have a great holiday weekend!

A couple of weeks of sitting for 8 hours won't make or break your success. It's just a little detour through a reduced speed zone. You will be out cruising at full speed on the highway soon enough :)

Do you have to sit through your shift? Even just standing and stepping back and forth will burn a few calories, and you could try squeezing in a few isometric moves in between customers (or butt crunches, squats, etc). Good luck with it...I feel your pain! I think I'd go crazy sitting at a desk all day!

i agree w/ both! i was wondering why the 8 hours but realized it must be for training then part time right? you will have to find exc. you can do at your desk while sitting. i sit all day too, but get up and move alot. to the restroom mostly, lol. w/ all my water intake... bank tellers idk, do you get that many breaks a day!?!?!?!?

It's just this training for the 8 hours days that I have to sit through. After that I'll stand and I will be able to get back to working out again. It will pass! I am noticing my belly is getting flabbier already after not doing my regular workouts! Scary!

You will be ready for the exercise after your training!! I would look at it as resetting your body. Once you are back at it, I think you may actually see a bigger loss than you expect, you shook it up a little as you took a break, breaks aren't always bad. Take Care!!
