My scale is so annoying! I weigh myself every morning at the same time, and each time I step on the scale it's about 5 lbs off. An example, this morning I was 167, then 169 and then 165.2.

Same thing last week. Last week I was 160, then 153 and then 161. I'm using a digital scale and I'm wondering if it's broken or if I should switch to a dial.

On Monday I was 161, then Tuesday 165. It upsets me so much because I don't think I could have gained 4 lbs over night. I don't think it's just water because I'm drinking enough water. I can't seem to get down to under 160, everytime I do, it just comes back on the next week.

Does anyone else have this issue with the scale? Does anyone use body fat % measuring tools? I know it's recommended to weigh in once a week, but I need that daily weigh in to not go off track.

Good morning. I found the same thing you're finding and had to go buy a new scale. There are some things you can try though. Is the scale on a bath mat? Make sure it's perfectly level in the hard ground. Reset it 3 times in a row (push your foot on it then step off till it goes to zero then off), take the battery out and back in. I bought a great bmi scale and have had fun testing it. If you're interested, go to my journals, back a few pages and you can follow my experiance with it. I love my scale!

I am having the same issues. So rather than throw the scale away this morning - I took out my tape measure. The inches are moving so I am happy again now.
