I am having a hard time changing my diet status to atkins diet. 

When you are in "My Fatsecret" you should see a tab off to the right that says "my toolbox." If you click on my diet it should take you there. I've heard others complain that it starts your weight back at zero so if you want to keep it you don't necessarily need to switch. Just as long as you know what your doing.
