I have some very-stupid Bad Andee stuff to share today! It’s not over the top or anything, but I am disgusted with myself! The fat content in the H/C have been bothering me, causing me to avoid it a little (my old ways creeping thru, I guess). I’ve been saving it to help swallow the iron and vitamin pills (so that I won’t throw them up because I hate taking pills)….but…

I pulled a nit-wit move and went back to using non-dairy creamer in my coffee every morning. First of all, the carb content in that stuff is WAY TOO HIGH! 1g per teaspoon! ARE YOU KIDDN’ ME?? Let’s see…3 cups of coffee a day with about 1 tbsp in each cup…we’re talking an additional 9 carb a day just from my coffee!! I had a feeling about that creamer, but I didn’t want to look! (That’s where the stupidity comes in!)

OK,so obviously I haven’t been too affected by it, but I can’t help but think about all the days gone by. For all I know, I could have met my weight goal by now! (the scale has not settled down, it's still bouncing around)

I have to begin a new day today without looking back, but I’m going to follow MBHPRO’s lead, smart woman that she is, and watch for hidden calories in EVERYTHING that I eat from now on!

I've been going thru detox Sunday and Monday all over again (thanks to my little stunt on Saturday). I'm feeling as good as new today, not feeling deprived or hungry at all! I feel in control again.

My body has come so far metabolically in the past month! I rebounded quickly from the carb over-dose this past weekend, and even though I felt the affects of the carbs immediately, I also recovered almost immediately once I went back to the Atkins way.

So, back to HC in my coffee...no more non-dairy creamers...

does that mean I have to start all over on Induction?? LOL IF IT DOES, I'm on day 3!!

fat is not a bad thing, as long as you are countering it against low carbs. I have noticed if I dont keep my fat consumption high (I am on Atkins induction at the moment), I dont lose weight as fast. Ever since I introduced heavy cream into my diet, I am losing weight quite steadily! Also be careful about which heavy cream you buy. I have discovered that some heavy creams actually have more than just ..well heavy cream! The added ingredients may also hinder weight loss. Another thing, those heavy creams also had 1 carb, which as any heavy cream lover will tell you..real heavy cream has none! Keep it up, and learn to love heavy cream - Eat fat to lose fat..I love that idea!!

It's a constant learning process, but you are learning quickly! And you are right back on track. You didn't gain that much this past week-end, it could have been worse. You're doing fantastic!

We all have gone through that in some form or another. Pat yourself on the back for recognizing the problem. You don't have to "start over" per-se. I usually tell people to do a few days of induction until cravings go away, then proceed on whatever phase you were on before. It sounds like you've beat the cravings. You're doing great.

Hi badandee!! If we must start over again after a 'cheat' I'm back at day one!! Oh well!! We'll have to continue on our merry way. I felt so sick to my stomach after last night...blah! I still feel yucky and bloated today. I really didn't do anything that bad. A couple of South Beach products that I should have stayed away from and a little to much sugar free chocolate. We're back in control now!! Keep up the good work!!

Aw, c'mon...start over on induction with me!!!!! :) Yup, I've been checking every single label on things that go in my mouth. Some of it is a real eye-opener!! I still have some creamers with carbs in it but I only use it occasionally so that I can get rid of it. I might use 1 carb's worth every 3 days or so and it goes into my total for the day. I haven't checked yet, but I heard there's carbs in SF gum too!! I usually chew a stick when I'm out for my walk because I don't carry water with me and it keeps my mouth from getting dry, but no more till I check it for those NASTY CARBS!! And there's no reason to be disgusted with yourself my friend because you are doing GREAT!! :) ((HUGS))
