Is it okay to change your calorific intake at the same time as the medication? The reason I ask is possible adverse effects and not knowing which one caused any positive or negative changes. Either way I hope you do wonderfully with both :).

That’s what I was thinking. One med I’m on says weight loss or weight gain... umm ok one or the other, got it. Lol. I just don’t like making more than one change at a time when it involves meds because I’m one of those that get the ‘rare side effects’ and have to them try and figure out what caused which reaction. Most people probably aren’t like that though. :)

My doctor advised me that one of the side effects of Metformin can be weight loss. Since my A1C was so consistently low he thought it was time to cut my daily dose in half. I also told him that I was forced to skip doses because my glucose levels were too low a couple of days a week and he approved. So far everything has been good. My glucose levels have remained as stable as ever thus far.
