Question:
Do you guys subtract the calories from your exercise from the calories you're eating at the end of the day (not from the tracking on here, but for personal tracking) for a more accurate display of total calories or no?? what should we do about the calories we're using in exercise??

Everyone is different and I like that aspect of weight watchers as described by my sister. Noom does that too and I found it super motivating. There is no way I know to set that up automatically here though.

Nope, the Calories you burn help with the weight loss!!

It would depend on if I'm trying to bulk or cut and how much exercising I'm doing. I like to keep my deficit moderate so I would eat back some of the calories. Usually at least 50%. It helps me with energy levels in the following days.

I input my total calories on here from my garmin everyday to see rough deficit or surplus. I don't record somewhere else since FS shows all the averages of food and exercise. I record exercise on my garmin when I go to gym so it adds it already or automatically gives me "active calories" on top of my testing calories if my hr goes up. My garmin app also adjusts my daily resting calorie expenditure based on my weight. (it goes down the more you lose)

Thank you all for your thoughtful responses~ I am trying to lose weight- not bulk- and I've found that I have been cheating myself a bit by canceling out the calories (subtracting the calories from exercise) when I go over my daily limit; and leaving them in when I am under. If trying to lose weight is it best to just keep to separate categories then? Total calories and then working calories: calories after workouts -- that is what I have been doing so far
