Well, the book says 8-13 pounds the first 2 weeks of phase 1, then an average of 1-2 pounds each week there after on phase 2. Also, the higher your bmi, the more weight you will lose (and faster). It does help to keep your food journal here. People here were concerned about my calorie intake but I printed out my food diary here a few different times and took it to my doctor, for her thumbs up. She asked me a few questions: Are you getting headaches? Do you feel hungry? Are you energetic? Do you feel light headed or dizzy? I had more energy and felt GREAT and had no other symptoms of not getting enough calories. It is different for everybody. I would be sure to follow up with your doctor though. My doctor also URGED the importance of hand weights when losing weight fast. She said it's easy to lose muscle too, if we aren't building muscle as we lose.
You seem to be doing WONDERFUL and I am so so so very happy for you! Listen to your body and I say if you're eating in a way that you're getting enough to eat, you feel good and this is something you're enjoying and can see living this way...then you are onto a great thing! Try to start using your food diary here though, it will help you and also your doc might like to see it?
