Avocado 101: I learned this from an old feller who ran the grocery department for 30 odd years.
Buy some bananas... put your avocado on/under or next to (touching) the bananas. Leave them on the counter top or some where at room temperature for a day or two.
I don’t know why but the banana cause the avocado to Ripken faster than just leaving on there own.
