OMG. I am so pissed and sad and I hate this and ready to quit because apparently things don't work for me anymore...

I've been "off" a little on calories this weekend, since Friday. My parents moving truck was down here and we spent all day like cleaning our house, and then literally all night from like 4-8am (with no sleep) moving boxes and furniture out of a moving truck into their house... so, I kind of ate bad that day with pizza since we didn't have a lot of time to cook.

Then, since we all stayed up like almost 24 hours to do this, we all passed out at 8am, so then, I just ate crap all day. But, according to all these things I read, I should've burned like over 1000 calories doing that work... then today I'm up on the damn scale, close to my starting weight, like I put on a whole lb in two days of work when it took 2 weeks to get it off.

I'm so ready to quit, and cry, and say 'eff this'. I'm so done.

Relax, take a deep breath. There are many reason why your weight could increase and most likely this is water weight. Eating more salt and carbs than you usually do causes your body to hold onto water. Also your muscles can hold onto water when they are repairing themselves. Its very unlikely that you gained a pound of fat, that would take am excess of 3500 calories. If you are going to weigh yourself often you have to get use to these flucuations.

Thanks for the talk down, I appreciate that a lot, lol - sometimes it's just so hard, but you're so right about that - we were eating more processed foods because we were working, so of course they're full of salt and all that stuff... ahhh anyway, again, - thank you, and you are so right!
