Woke at 232.8, up 2.6 after movie popcorn and a huge steak dinner last night. Tonight will be about the same as it’s Jason’s birthday and he has requested our favorite local restaurant for 36 years now. Happy New Year, everyone! UPDATE: Made Jason some waffles for lunch (a family tradition we've followed since he was a toddler). We play Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" and sing "Making the waffles, making the waffles, etc." to the music. We didn't sing along this time, but we did tell the Amazon Echo to play the music while we made and ate them! I had one small waffle square and some sugar free syrup. UPDATE: Went to Mama Stella's and had a great dinner with Fettuccine Alfredo and their amazing Italian bread. Then came home and celebrated Jason's birthday with chocolate cake and three flavors of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. The last blowout of the year!
