Trust me, your weight will fluctuate tremendously from day to day. There are so many factors involved. Here's a good website that may give you some insight about that. You might want to consider weighing weekly if weighing more often gets you down when you have a weight gain. You've lost 8 pounds on phase I which is terrific. I lost about 9 lbs my first two weeks, then 3, then 1-2 lbs each week thereafter. I'm about 14-15 weeks in and have lost almost 30 lbs. It adds up quickly if you stick to the plan. Of course, you don't have nearly the amount to lose that I did. Take your time, do it the healthy way....slowly....and you will be amazed. Best wishes!
