What about gluttony? It's what most of us are! 🤔🐷 

All of this is well and good, but bottom line...you dishonor God if you don't take care of the vehicle for your spirit he/she has given you, meaning your body and your mind. This theory also applies to the planet he/she has blessed us with to live on. We dishonor the Lord if we don't take care of Mother Earth. It's all the same thing.

Yeah, getting into shape isn't vanity. It's just being not stupid. I want to be here when the shout goes out, and not knowing when that will be, I need to be prepared to live a good long time. 

I am a Christian, but I want to lose weight so I can be the best me that he made me to be... I want to be here to see Jesus come back. 

Not saying we should not get into shape...God knows...I need it....but what I am saying is don't be abcessed with it....build your inside equally. 

I have participated in the sins of gluttony and sloth and am trying to be healthy. Jesus would like that treating my body like a temple

Yup - wanna be alive when that happens. Wanna feel that change. Gotta live as long as I can. 

Amen. God is good all the time. Just want to get this temple healthy, so I can work and live for my King. 

Not a Christian, but agree with the sentiment nevertheless. 😊 

Amen! Just taking care of my temple which is my body. I'm trying to be healthier.  

I'd like to consider myself "some sort of Christian"... my God is a pretty chilled out dude, though. He doesn't sweat the small stuff, he's got much ore important issues to deal with, than being bothered if we're vain or not. :) As long as you're not purposely hurting someone, he's pretty much good to go. :) 

Jesus Christ is in my heart. He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow and never changes. He never changes but we do. Just follow him trust him obey him and take his advice and not your own.  

Amen, thank you for this reminder. May who we are inside and who we stride to be inside also reflect who we are outwardly.
