kind of weight loss related...brought the dogs to the vet today. While I know my puggle needs more exercise I was suprised that Chloe, the dog I bring for my evening walks was 85 lbs!! :P our last vet appt about 2 years ago she was at 64 lbs...thats a huge difference...and while we have been walking for only a few months now I thought for sure she'd lose something :( and of course my hyper dog is in shape lol wish I had his metabolism!

I have two boxers and one of them is about 85 pounds also. My nickname for him is Mr. Piggy-face. My other boxer is only about 60 pounds. All I can say is that Mr. Piggy-face takes up way too much room in the bed at night. Sharing a bed with two boxers is challenging sometimes. They are both bed hogs. My bigger boy is rather lazy, but doesn't look fat. It wouldn't hurt to do some walking with him though. Julie

Luckily my two dogs never picked up my bad habits, I noticed in the winter when we don't walk so much they eat less. Wish I had that common sense.

They grow so fast. At least your walking the pup that will be helpful for the long term. My dogs are still young so they are okay weight wise, but as they get older I'm sure they'll grow out more. I wish I had my dogs metabolism and energy level too!
