Well, today I go to the Nuticianist. My new NH doc doesn't like Keto and wants me to discuss a different way of eating with her. I'm trying to have an open mind, but I'm 56 years old I've tried every diet and nothing has worked before. He put me on meds for my sugars and the numbers are the same, so what's the point. The last one I saw said I needed 15 carbs a snack and 45 carbs a meal, I was taking 80 units of insulin then. The last 2 years doing Keto I was on none. Now my sugars are going up again, I think it's because I've been experimenting with different sugar substitutes and making a lot more desserts. I told my husband I was going back to basics, he thought I was right, but doc thinks otherwise. Well, we will see what she has to say.

I think you have to listen to your body and do what is best for you, the doctor will not always agree with you. Good luck! 😊

you need to get a new doctor that is more open minded, the proof is in how much better you have been doing since you changed the way you eat.
