Hello to all my friends!

The weekend was rather uneventful but I did get a new scale...digital...and now its really easy to see the numbers. I'm happy because my old scale was only off by a pound so I won't weigh in again until next week to let my body and my weight history catch up!

Went to Ruth Chris and had an amazing steak...with steamed broccoli and a caesar salad no croutons. Everyone was wonderul and I did cheat by having a glass of wine. But I couldn't help myself. Having such a wonderful dinner without wine is just committing so many crimes that I thought it was my duty to indulge. And thats all the indulging I did, so I think I did pretty well. I only went up an ounce or two so I"m not really worried.

I've decided to continue on Phase I for a while. I don't feel deprived and I get the most loss with it. I'm going to try it for the whole month of August and see where it gets me.

Mmmm...I love Ruth's Chris. DH and I had an early morning wedding with an early afternoon lunch. After all the festivites were over, we went to Ruth's Chris for dinner. Now, we go back every year on our anniversary! That's great you got the new scale...I've been contimplating about getting one as well but lately, I've been using the one at the gym. I think I'm going to continue on Phase I for a bit too...we'll get through this together!

Great JOB! I bought a new digital scale on Saturday too...and according to it, my old scale was 2 pounds light... Keep it up!!

Which Ruth Chris did you go to? Last time (before not recently) when I was in Vegas with my hubby we went to RC and it was just terrible. Steaks were hard even though I ordered medium rare, asparagus overcooked. My friend had raved about the one in LA so we wanted to try it and happened upon the one in Vegas. I learned that they are independently operated which was why it may not have been consistent with other RC's. I think I'll try the one in LA that my friend liked. I like having a digital scale too. What's nice is that the weight stays on the scale even after I get off it so I can lean down and see it when I don't have my contacts on, especially first thing in the morning. You have great will power to stay on Phase 1 for a whole month! You'll definitely get to your goal sooner!
