132. 6 this morning, I'm going down again, happily. One more pound and I will be back to where I was before my "Banana Bread Incident". Cheesh. How was I to know if I made FAT FREE Banana Bread with whole wheat flour, I would end up eating half the batch! And whatever else was in sight out of guilt..heh heh. Not actually funny, rather shameful really. I'm doing lots better than I used to but I hate it when I lose control and eat mindlessly.
One positive thing, since starting my own diet and quitting low carb, I haven't gone above 135. I was yo-yoing from the 130's to the 140's every time I ate carbs before. If I would have ate that much banana bread when doing SB you can bet I would have gained more like 10 pounds, and I would probably still be trying to get it off. Well, here's my new rule about baked goods(homemade ones), do not bake them ON THE WEEKEND! The best time to make them is during the week because then I can have one serving, pack it away, and Brandon can take the rest to work with him the next day, rather than it sitting there tempting me all weekend. I am doing less housework and such on the weekend and am more tempted to munch when hubby is home (he eats constantly!!).
Also, next time, make MUFFINS, not quick bread, to be sure of serving size. Otherwise I might get a double serving and not realize it. It's easy to do.I need to get a mini muffin pan as well.
I got those little 100 hostess snack cakes, and the Weight Watchers lemon cakes this week. They are so tiny! Pretty good though. I had the little chocolate snack cakes in layered with sugar free pudding and fat free cool whip for a yummy treat the other day, it was a good dessert. I have really been loving pumpkin lately too, I got some canned pumpkin, and I mix it up spices and sweetener with a cup of vanilla SF pudding and cool whip and it is so good! I am one of those people that wants pumpkin year round, it is one of my favorite flavors.
I am a dessert person if you didn't know! I like to find low calorie ways to have the tastes I like, it definitely makes dieting easier. But for future reference(for myself) Fat Free Banana Bread is not the best idea! That recipe was actually for two loaves, and I put it all in one pan, so each peice was twice the calories I thought it was! You gotta read the fine print. OUCH!
I'll be more careful next time.

I think you made a great choice in finding a life-style plan that works for you! I'd say you've got it all figured out with baking just during the week...haha!! Good job, you're really doing so well!
