Did everyone have a great weekend? Mine consisted of the good, the bad, and the cute.
First- the good.
I ran both Saturday and Sunday! Saturday was only 2.5 miles and Sunday was 2.9 miles- and neither run was straight w/out walking breaks but I still got off my butt and ran so I am counting it!
Now- the bad.
I ate everything in site. I fell off the "eating healthy" wagon and did a few barrel rolls. Seriously- it was sad. But I am still fitting in all my clothes and I am starting over today so yeah.
And to wrap up- here is the cute:
I spent a good portion of this weekend, when I wasn't job hunting, laying on our bed in the sunshine, listening to Celtic music/Irish folk songs (I have unique and wide-ranging taste in music), the scentsy knock-off on (Plumaria on Saturday, Vanilla Bean on Sunday) and my latest crochet project spread out. Marlow loved it and usually curled up with me. By that I mean he laid on the blanket I am working on- LOL. What a goober.
Saturday night hubs and I threw back a few beers (I told you I feel off the wagon hard) and played Monopoly (oh yeah- we know how to party!!!) where I promptly whooped his butt and practically owned the whole board by the time we drug our butts to bed.
Sunday we went on a movie date to our local cheap-seats and saw Ted- soooooooo funny!!!!! Although I really hope Seth McFarland starts doing humor that won't get dated so quickly- I love his stuff but it ages so fast that I feel it loses "re-watch value" within a year or so.
I have no idea who that is but I need someone like that to follow me around and act like that when I am all like "a snickers bar would be fabulous right now...."
I'm suppose to say "no" to baked Doritos? What about cheese curds?
Bah.
At least I ran both days- that counts for a little right? right?
What I am happy for today:
- comfy maxi dresses (the laziest way to look good on a Monday)
- sunshine
- running (can't wait to go on another run tonight)
- funny puppies
- teaching my friend how to crochet
- and her adorable baby
- cheap theaters ($3.50 a ticket- heck yeah!)
