I am trying to use common sense with my carbohydrates, when I told that to my family doctor he told me I should write a book. I am no expert or actually I am no doctor I told him, but I realize the concept of common sense though. It is hard for me to resits Georges fresh baked Greek Village Bread which is white but it is even harder for me not to eat any bread for my body things just go right through me like I am sick to my stomach, so i have realized that's not natural, my body is saying no don't do that either. You would think after so many times that i would get that but actually I try to go with what is in style with what the popular demands are with diets. It would be saying that all fat is created equal therefore do not eat any, that's not fair, cause one teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil goes a long way, and yes it means eating some fat, or one teaspoon smart balance, canola oil, or salmon with omega3's, so it would not be fair to say all is created equal when you look at a number on my food chart or any body's else food chart. People need to think, WE ALL DO AND NOT GET CONFUSED, BECAUSE TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH ALL THE FAD DIETS GET ME very confused! THE doctors office also gave me the MEDITERRANEAN DIET WHICH WAS KIND OF IRONIC FUNNY! I just happen to be Mediterranean so what went wrong i am going off the old ways of eating. In Greece everyone does not eat a gob of sea fish for it is expensive, so is red meat, so most eat some, they eat some bread, and they eat olive oil like we have always eaten the margarine's and lards in the States. Now down there they are enjoying the fast foods, and straying away from their cuisine especially in the big cities. It is common sense that we need to use. they had to walk, and work, and back then did not have much computer more less T.V.'s All I think are still good to educate us,but not too much, we need to move more, and just being life taking part in being active, instead of just watching our days and life go by as spectators. We forget about ourselves with all our responsibilities that we forget to be good and responsible to ourselves so we can be there for our families! I am still working on all of the above, I am doing my best and sometimes I need to do more than that, each day I learn, and I can try to put something new each day into effect cause we cannot do it all in one day! Each day we try to do one thing better than the day before, vegetables can be that one first new thing, good fats the other one on another day, and still to move more on another day!
